When I left Bolivia for the last time, I spent two weeks in Peru before flying home. Using the nights to travel around on night buses that connect the major cities (a cheap and practical means of travel in South America) I reached Lima via the historical cities of Arequipa and Cuzco, while hiked to some of the most breathtaking places of the world: Canón del Colca, a canyon with a depth of over 2000 meters and home of the mighty condor, Macchu Picchu, the Inca citadel located in the Eastern Cordilleras, and Paracas National Reserve that protects desert and marine ecosystems on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
